Why are clips needed?
Clips are designed to fasten two adjacent cubiks together and hold the connection in a specified position.
How many clips should be used to connect two cubiks
Minimum — 2 clips
To connect two cubiks, two clips installed on different edges are usually sufficient.
Recommended standard — 4 clips
Four clips fasten two cubiks together securely enough for the vast majority of structures.
Since it is not always clear in advance where the load will be applied, a universal solution is to place clips on each of the four sides of the connection.
More than 4 clips — more often for appearance
In most cases, more than four clips per pair of cubiks are needed not because "it's stronger," but because it looks better: the slots are filled, a neat rhythm appears, and the structure looks more complete.
Plan access to clips in advance
If the structure is to be dismantled or rebuilt, it is important to place the clips so that they can be reached by hand. Otherwise, the clips will be "locked" and dismantling will be difficult or impossible without partial disassembly.
Typical situations where clips become inaccessible:
Practical rule:
Before the final installation of the clips, think about the sequence of disassembly: what will you remove first, and will you still have access to the necessary clips after the structure is in its working position (on the floor, against the wall, in a niche, etc.).
Clips as a design element
Clips can also serve a decorative function:
Completion and additional purchases
We complete sets based on the following calculation: 4 clips per cubik, in the same colour as the cubiks.
If you need more clips or want a different colour pattern, you can purchase additional clips in any colour — they are sold in packs of 150.
